We’re excited to offer newsroom tours for a select number of delegates at NASH75 on the afternoon of Thursday, January 10th. Tours available: During block four, 3:15pm to 4:15pm:
- Tour of the Toronto Star newsroom for 15 people – FULL
- Tour of the Globe and Mail newsroom for 12 people – FULL
- Tour of the CBC building for 12 people – FULL
During block five, 4:30pm to 5:30pm:
- Tour of the Globe and Mail newsroom for 12 people – FULL
- Tour of the CBC building for 12 people – FULL
Please note that the tours themselves will take about an hour each, as outlined in the schedule, but will likely require some additional time for travel. Delegates will be lead to their destinations by NASH75 volunteers and will be taking public transit to and from the newsrooms ($3 per way, and roughly ~20 minutes each way). Sign up is first come, first served. Please email emma@cup.ca before end-of-day Wednesday, January 9th with which tour you would like to attend and your name will be marked down. Tour groups will be notified via email of finalized details on the morning of Thursday, January 10th and information will also be posted at the conference registration desk on-site at the hotel.
